PRIVACY POLICY

1.  Who we are

Our website exists to let businesses and individuals explore our products and get in touch with us. That’s it. We don’t run an online store, we don’t process payments, and we don’t require you to create an account.

2.  What information we collect — and why we keep it minimal

What you give us

The only personal information we collect is what you choose to share with us through our enquiry form:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • The details of your enquiry — whatever you type in the message field

That’s the list. We don’t ask for your address, payment details, business registration number, or anything else at this stage. If a commercial conversation develops and we need more, we’ll ask for it directly — not through the website.

What the website collects automatically

Like most websites, ours picks up some basic technical data when you visit — your approximate IP address, browser type, the device you’re on, which pages you looked at, and how you found us. This data helps us understand whether the site is working properly and how visitors use it. It’s not linked to you personally.

Cookies

We use cookies — small files stored in your browser — to keep the website functional and to understand general traffic patterns.

  • Essential cookies: The website needs these to work. They can’t be switched off.
  • Analytics cookies: Tools like Google Analytics tell us how many people visited, which pages are popular, and where visitors come from. No personal details are stored.
  • Functional cookies: These remember small preferences to improve your experience.

You can turn cookies off in your browser settings. Some website features may not work as well if you do. Where Indian law requires us to get your consent before placing non-essential cookies, we will.

3.  What we use your information for

Simple: to respond to your enquiry. Specifically:

  • To get back to you with the information or quote you asked for
  • To follow up on an active enquiry where relevant
  • To keep an internal record of business communications
  • To spot patterns in how people use the website so we can improve it

We don’t use your contact details to sign you up for newsletters, we don’t profile you for advertising, and we don’t make automated decisions based on your data.

4.  The legal basis for using your data

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act) and the IT Act 2000:

  • Consent: When you fill in our enquiry form, you’re consenting to us using that data to respond.
  • Legitimate interest: We have a genuine business reason to maintain records of enquiries and respond to people who contact us.
  • Contractual necessity: If your enquiry leads to a purchase, processing your data becomes necessary to fulfil that agreement.

5.  How we store and protect your data

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure:

  • The website runs on SSL/TLS encryption, so data you submit travels securely
  • Enquiry data is accessible only to the people in our team who need it
  • Our internal systems are password-protected

No system is perfectly secure. We can’t guarantee that data transmitted over the internet is 100% safe — but we apply commercially reasonable protections and take breaches seriously. If something happens that creates risk for you, we’ll notify you as required by law.

6.  How long we keep your information

We retain enquiry records for 3 years from the date of submission. If the enquiry becomes a commercial relationship, we keep relevant records for as long as Indian business and tax regulations require.

After retention is no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised.

7.  Who we share your data with — and who we don’t

We don’t sell your information. Full stop.

There are a few limited situations where your data might be shared:

  • Service providers: We use third-party tools for email hosting, analytics, and business operations. These providers can only use your data for the specific purpose we’ve engaged them for, and they’re contractually required to handle it securely.
  • Legal requirements: If a court order or government authority in India requires us to disclose your data, we will. We’d prefer not to.
  • Business changes: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may transfer to the new entity. We’d post a clear notice on the website if that happens.

8.  Your rights

Under the DPDP Act 2023 and applicable Indian law, here’s what you’re entitled to:

  • Access: Ask us what personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Ask us to fix anything that’s wrong or incomplete.
  • Erasure: Ask us to delete your data. We’ll do it where we’re not legally required to keep it.
  • Withdraw consent: You can pull back consent at any time. That doesn’t affect anything we processed before you withdrew it.
  • Raise a grievance: You can escalate a concern to our Grievance Officer (details below).

To make any of these requests, write to info@padmadisposableindustries.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.

9.  Children

This website is for adults and business users. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we discover that we have, we’ll delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has submitted data through our site, contact us and we’ll act on it immediately.

10.  External links

Some of our blog posts and pages may link to other websites. This Privacy Policy covers our website only. Once you click away, you’re subject to whatever privacy practices that site has — not ours. Check their policies before sharing anything personal with them.

11.  When this policy changes

We’ll update the Effective Date at the top of this page whenever something meaningful changes. For significant changes, we’ll make it prominent. Continuing to use the website after an update means you’ve accepted the revised version.

12.  Grievance Officer

As required under the DPDP Act 2023 and the IT Act 2000, you can raise privacy concerns with our designated Grievance Officer:
